Touchstone manages LIoyds Banking Group Refurbishment Program
Touchstone has recently been instructed by LBG and Jones Lang LaSalle to undertake a major refurbishment program on empty flats above Lloyds, HBOS and Cheltenham and Gloucester branches. The portfolio has been under Touchstone's management for a number of years but a large section of it has remained vacant; the bank has now been persuaded to invest in returning these empty units to the rental market and close to 150 units should be refurbished and let within the next 12 months.
The units are spread across the whole of the UK and are being managed From Touchstone’s Bath office with support from the Milton Keynes and London offices. With government and media pressure mounting on landlords to bring empty homes back into use, Touchstone is not only guiding LBG in the realisation of increased income from dormant assets but is also helping the bank to make a difference to the housing shortage.
